Doja cat cancelled her tour dates as a result of her tonsils’ surgery.

Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, popularly and professionally known as “Doja Cat”, canceled her tour dates that were supposed to take place with the artist this weekend.

On Saturday, May 21, 2022, Doja cancelled all her tours and festival runs for the summer. She is said to have undergone tonsil surgery. She had to go through another surgery due to vaping and drinking while taking antibiotics.

She posted on her Instagram and stated clearly on her Instagram story that “Hi guys. I wanted you to hear it from me first.Unfortunately, I have to have surgery on my tonsils asap. The surgery was routine, but the recovery is going to take a while due to swelling. That means I have to cancel my festival run this summer as well as the weekend tour.I feel horrible for this but can’t wait for this to heal and get back to making music and creating an experience for y’all. “

She also stated via her Twitter handle on how it all started. The doctor cut her left tonsil because of the abscess in it. Her tonsils got infected and she was on antibiotics. She forgot that she was on antibiotics and went ahead to drink wine alongside vaping throughout the whole day, which led to the other surgery she had on May 19,2022.

She was supposed to have a tour date on the weekend but had to cancel it for this reason. Although her fans already had the tickets for the tour, they were disappointed when she announced it. At the same time, her fans were reassuring and supportive of her. A lot of them were seen posting on the social media platforms to wish her well and speedy recovery with the hope that she would be fine soon.
