Kendrick Lamar is set to have the biggest album debut of 2022.

Kendrick Lamar Duckworth, popularly known as “Kendrick Lamar”, is set to have the biggest album debut of the year 2022 shortly after releasing the album.

He had earlier officially announced via his Instagram handle that another of his studio albums, “The Morale and the Big Steppers”, would be released on May 13,2022. Before releasing the full songs on the album, he released his single called “The Heart Part 5” on May 8,2022, in which this song is not under the newly released album.

According to chart data, on May 24,2022, the song “The Heart Part 5” was currently at Number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 after about two weeks of its release. The video for the song has also surpassed 31 million views on YouTube.

On May 19,2022. Billboard revealed on Twitter that the single “The Heart Part 5” by Kendrick Lamar debuted in the Top 10 on the Hot R and B/Hip Hop Song Charts.

In the music video for “The Heart Part 5” Kendrick Lamar is seen wearing a white shirt with a black bandana tied around his neck. He performs against a background that looks like blood red in color. The musician started the song by thanking his beautiful fans and everyone that has been down with him, alongside putting on a facial look that seems like he has been tortured.

The song’s video shows Kendrick Lamar’s face changing into six musicians’ faces at different times while singing some parts of the song. With the use of deep fake technology, the rapper’s face first morphs into O.J. Simpson, then a series of other popular black men; they are Kanye West, Jussie Smollett, Will Smith, Kobe Bryant, and lastly, Nipsey Hussle.

A song on the album “Die Hard” featuring Amanda Reifer and BLXST was announced by Billboard to be Kendrick Lamar’s first song of the 2022 album to be number one on the Hot R & B song charts.

On May 23, 2022, the chart data announced that Kendrick Lamar’s fifth studio album, “Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers,” earned the biggest first week sales for an album by any artist on the Billboard 200. The chart data also announced that the new album’s official first week sales were 295,500 units with over 300 million streams.

In the first week of its release, the album received over 328.7 million streams on Spotify and other music platforms. The album is also at number 2 in the Top 10 global albums on Spotify.

The fifth album “Damn” was released on April 14, 2017. He produced another album which was released in 2018 and served as the soundtrack for the movie, Black Panther. The album’s title is “Black Panther: The Album.”

Lamar has also recorded many mixtapes over years. They include: his debut mixtape titled Y.H.N.I.C. (Hub City Threat Minor Of The Year) was released on June 2003.the second mixtape titled “Training day” was released on June 1, 2005. The third mixtape titled “No sleep ‘Till NYC” was released on December 24, 2007.

The fourth mixtape titled “C4” was said to have been inspired by the American Rapper, Lil Wayne’s Album “The Carter lll”.After releasing this mixtape he changed his rap name from  “K-dot” to his current  stage name which is  “Kendrick Lamar”. The “C4” mixtape was released on January 30, 2009. The fifth mixtape is “Kendrick Lamar Ep” and was released on December 31, 2009. The final mixtape is “Overly dedicated” and it was released on September 14, 2010.
